Job description: If you are an experience Revenue Manager/Accountant with extensive experience collaborating with Sales, Professional Services, and Legal teams in the SaaS space, this is the role for you.

We are looking for a Revenue Manager (FULLY REMOTE) with SaaS Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, Global Sales Tax Compliance, etc. If you have experience overseeing the revenue policy in a similar environment, let’s talk!

What You Will Be Doing

Due to our tremendous growth over the last few years, we are looking to add a talented and experienced Revenue Manager to our team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be instrumental in building a world class Revenue Accounting function. You will be the key Finance Liaison for the Sales and Legal teams for new business deals/agreements/etc regarding financial/revenue recognition.
Responsibilities will include:
– Overseeing the revenue policy per ASC 606 for subscription/professional services revenue streams and related
– Implement a systematic process/proper recognition of revenue, deferred revenue, un-billed receivables
– In-house expert on revenue policy
– Advise on account implications of non-standard financial terms and/or modifications to sales contracts/agreements/terms
– Manage customer invoicing process
– Verify accuracy/completeness of invoices
– Complete implementation of new revenue recognition software in accordance with ASC 606
– Month/Quarter/Year-end accounting close – GAAP compliance
– Technical Revenue Accounting Guidance
– Global Sales Tax Compliance/Filing Requirements ownership
– Continuously enhance/refine revenue close process and procedures that can scale

What You Need for this Position

– Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or similar
– CPA preferred, ASC 606 familiarity
– Extensive experience in SaaS Revenue Recognition
– Progressive experience in Revenue Accounting
– Strong experience partnering/liaising with Sales and Legal teams for new business deals/arrangements review
– Sage Intacct
– Contract Review, Invoicing, Collections (bonus would be ability to review/interpret contracts)
– Advanced MS Excel and MS Office expertise
– Global Sales Tax compliance, filing requirements, evaluation of sales tax exposure/requirements internationally, and on a state/local level
